The Software Quality Assurance Specialist role is perfect for you if you are:
• Experienced in diagnosing, reporting, tracking, and resolving quality assurance issues
• Able to understand and clarify requirements, and design test scenarios
• Great at explaining things. You are able to communicate clearly in writing, by phone, and in person
• Excited to learn and adapt to new technologies and domains
It will be considered an asset if you have:
• Experienced with testing software applications on web-based, desktop, and mobile devices
• Experienced with developing and executing manual and automated test suites
• Knowledgeable in software development life-cycle methodologies
• Experienced with working in a variety of programming languages and environments
• Well-versed in quality assurance methods such as: unit, integration, regression, usability testing, performance and security analysis
If you work best in an organized, structured environment, and have a good eye for inconsistencies and bugs, then you would be a good fit for the role. Along with your positive, helpful attitude, you will need the ability to prioritize tasks and schedule your work. Lastly, you must have a passion for upholding the quality of our applications while keeping the end-user in mind.
