Software Engineer in Test, Graviton Team Annapurna Labs, an Amazon company, plays a significant role in AWS's success by developing Graviton servers. Graviton servers are ARM-based processors that provide better performance and cost-effectiveness for running various compute-intensive applications on the cloud. As a Software Test Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the software quality of Graviton servers. That includes setting up and maintaining lab and cloud environments, writing test plans, automating them, and troubleshooting issues. You will design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and work closely with developers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality Graviton servers to our customers. Key Job Responsibilities • Strong scripting abilities in Python to write tests that constantly check the functionality of the Graviton servers' software. • Experience coding in Python and testing embedded systems. • Serve as an autonomous contributor, providing consistently high-quality work and maintainable code. • Apply software testing techniques and assess the testability of components/features built by development teams. Basic Qualifications • Experience building test automation frameworks and tools. • Experience building and designing test cases, including knowledge of test methodologies. • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design. Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge of industry-standard test automation tools and experience developing product test frameworks. • Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.). • Experience with open-source tools and resources.
