The Team
A&M's Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice specializes in assisting upper middle market and large-cap private equity firms. We focus on enhancing operational outcomes for their portfolio companies, typically ranging from $50 million to over $1 billion in revenue.

Your Contribution
Our methodical approach allows us to create and capture value while providing private equity buyers and their portfolio companies with comprehensive insights throughout the deal lifecycle — from technology assessments and operational reviews to Day-1 planning and post-deal integrations. Our services encompass detailed due diligence, merger integrations, management of transition service agreements, ERP system implementations, IT operation optimizations, and enterprise architecture enhancements.

Manager Role:
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team conducting comprehensive software product and technology due diligence assessments for private equity clients and their portfolio companies. Key responsibilities include evaluating products' features, technology architecture, intellectual property, R&D processes, and hosting infrastructures.
Engagements will involve:
• Pre-acquisition buy-side software product and tech due diligence
• Pre-transaction sell-side software product and tech due diligence
• Pre-acquisition synergy and cost take-out assessments
• Post-acquisition performance improvement initiatives
As a Manager, you will:
• Engage with clients and targets through interviews, updates, and follow-ups
• Manage the data request process to gather critical information from targets
• Conduct thorough analyses and synthesize findings into compelling, client-ready reports
• Ensure quality deliverables while nurturing relationships to maintain high performance
• Mentor and supervise junior team members
Qualifications:
• 5-8 years of consulting experience, specializing in technology or software product management
• Experience in private equity or technology diligence is preferred
• Strong communication skills for executive-level deliverables
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders and private equity teams
• Excellent analytical skills with experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis
• A background in software or advisory roles from top-tier firms
• A capacity to translate technical insights into actionable business strategies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
• Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time

Benefits Summary
Full-time and part-time positions exceeding 30 hours a week are eligible for a range of benefits including healthcare plans, savings accounts, life and disability coverage, and a 401(k) retirement plan with annual contributions upon meeting eligibility requirements. Our paid time off includes vacation, personal days, sick leave, federal holidays, a floating holiday, and parental leave. The amount of vacation and personal days varies based on tenure and role type.
The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $190,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience. A discretionary bonus program is available based on individual and firm performance.
