We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of system architecture, solution architecture, and IT service management principles, with a strong background in system administration, systems engineering, and cloud platforms. This role offers an opportunity to influence large-scale digital transformation initiatives by creating scalable, secure, and efficient ServiceNow environments aligned with organizational goals.
Duties
• Lead the architecture and design of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
• Develop comprehensive system design documents, including workflows, integrations, and custom applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements based on business needs, leveraging skills in API development, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Oversee the integration of ServiceNow with various systems such as Pegasystems, AWS, Azure, and other cloud services using secure protocols like VPN and firewalls.
• Manage system administration tasks including configuration, deployment, and maintenance within diverse environments such as Linux, Windows, and virtualized platforms like VMware and Kubernetes.
• Implement security best practices including RBAC, information security protocols, and network security measures involving firewalls, DNS, and load balancing.
• Utilize scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Bash (Unix shell), and tools like Git, Jenkins, to automate deployment pipelines following the principles of DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Provide technical leadership on system upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance of ServiceNow instances.
• Support the development of scalable architecture solutions utilizing technologies like NoSQL databases (MongoDB), traditional RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server) with a focus on data integrity and performance optimization.
• Drive adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies within Agile frameworks for project delivery.
Skills
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions using ServiceNow platform.
• Strong knowledge of system architecture principles across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and on-premises environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript, Python, Shell Scripting, T-SQL, PL/SQL.
• Deep understanding of network protocols (DNS, DHCP), computer networking concepts, virtualization (VMware, Virtualization Technologies), container orchestration (Kubernetes), load balancing techniques, and operating systems (Linux, Windows).
• Expertise in system administration, system design, systems engineering, and IT infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker containers, CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of security frameworks including RBAC, information security policies, firewalls, VPNs.
• Experience working within Agile development environments following SDLC best practices.
