Applications Architect – Senior (ServiceNow)
Location: Toronto, ON
Duration: 6 months + 6 months

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Applications Architect with strong experience leading complex ServiceNow implementations across enterprise or public-sector environments. The role focuses on designing scalable, secure, and well-governed ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM, with deep expertise in CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
You will be responsible for solution architecture, integration design, and technical standards, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate organizational objectives into robust ServiceNow platforms. The role includes designing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and identity solutions, as well as contributing to mobile, AI-assisted workflows, Virtual Agent, and Copilot-style capabilities.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow architecture experience, strong development knowledge (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, ATF, CI/CD), excellent stakeholder communication skills, and experience operating within formal governance and audit frameworks. ServiceNow certifications are preferred.
Must-Have Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience architecting or leading complex ServiceNow implementations across multiple modules, including ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM
• 5+ years of deep hands-on expertise with CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and enterprise data governance
• 5+ years of strong integration experience, including REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, event ingestion from monitoring tools, and identity integrations (SSO, SAML, OAuth)
• 5+ years of proficiency in ServiceNow development and configuration, including JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, ATF, update sets, source control, CI/CD, and performance optimization
• 5+ years of experience working in large, complex, or public-sector environments with formal governance, audit, and SDLC controls
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions
• Experience designing or integrating ServiceNow Mobile App, Virtual Agent, AI-assisted workflows, or Copilot-style integrations within enterprise or public-sector environments
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $125.00-$135.00 per hour
