A company is looking for a Staff Information Security Specialist to join their Cybersecurity & IT team.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a strategic partner to execute high-impact security initiatives and operationalize security strategy
Support compliance efforts for HITRUST, SOC 2, and HIPAA, including vendor reviews and client security questionnaires
Lead the design and automation of Identity Access Management (IAM) and oversee application security practices
Required Qualifications
8+ years of relevant experience in senior-level IT, DevOps, Engineering, or Security roles
Deep experience with compliance automation platforms, particularly Vanta
Expert-level knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles
Hands-on experience with AppSec workflows, including code scanning and vulnerability management
Comfortable working independently with clear deliverables and minimal supervision
