Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Engineer to own and evolve our data platform, ensuring reliable, scalable, and high-performance data systems that support analytics and business decision-making.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines across batch and streaming use cases, optimizing our data warehouse, and establishing best-in-class data engineering practices.
You will work closely with analytics, product, and engineering teams to ensure data is accurate, timely, and trusted across the organization.
Responsibilities
Manage and optimize a ClickHouse data warehouse
Build robust data pipelines using dbt and Kafka for reliable batch and stream data flows
Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability on data systems and pipelines
Design and maintain backup and recovery systems
Support analytics team with reliable, timely data delivery
Establish data engineering best practices
Required Skills
Keywords:
Database, Data Warehouse, SQL, ETL, ELT, Data Pipelines, Kafka, Orchestration
Strong SQL and database experience. ClickHouse and/or postgreSQL experience is a plus.
Experience building and managing production data pipelines
Orchestration tools and batch processing with dbt, airflow, dagster or similar technologies
Stream processing with Kafka or similar technologies
API integration with error handling and resilience patterns
Infrastructure:
Kubernetes, Docker, distributed systems
Python for data processing and automation
Data modeling and warehouse design
