Senior Cisco Architect (valid CCIE required)
Description of Work
Design, architect, build, and implement core network solution (routing and switching and security)
Must have strong leadership skills. Customer wants a strong leader to lead their technical team for architecture, design and implementation. There will not be direct reports but this resource will be the lead architect
Current solution is Cisco core
Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to resources as identified by customer
Experience designing/architecting and implementing Cisco ACI solutions and must have automation experience
Required Qualifications
10+ years experience architecting, designing, building, implementing, leading and administering complex Cisco solutions
Cisco routing, switching, data centre and security
Experience with cloud services and migration cloud services
CCIE certification is required (Routing/Switching (Enterprise) and Data Centre)
Data Center, Enterprise Security, hybrid cloud integration with AWS, GCP & Azure, Unified Communications, Unified Computing, MPLS, and Internet Service Providers core backbone networks
Experience with core networks design and implementation using Cisco ISR/ASR Routers, Cisco IOS & Nexus-OS, , Catalyst Switches, Nexus, Cisco CSM/ACE, Cisco ISE and F5 load balancers, Palo Alto, ASA, PIX Firewalls, VPN Concentrators and Microsoft products
Design and implementation experience with Silver Peak, Viptela and Velo Cloud SDWAN
Extensive experience on VPC, VSS, MPLS, BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, Multicast, MGCP, H323, SIP, CUBE and QOS.
