What You Will Be Doing
- Design and develop complex mechatronic systems mainly in lab automation/ robotic applications
- Implement/optimize various sensors (temperature, pressure, optical, chemical) into system for precise measurements and control
- Develop and program automation control systems (PLCs, microcontrollers, other control devices)
- Integrate and program robotic systems for automated tasks in laboratory setting
- Diagnose, resolve complex system issues, ensure high reliability and performance of systems
- Oversee project timelines, resources, deliverables, ensure successful project completion
- Design and develop custom circuit boards meeting specific requirements of automation systems
- Work closely and cross-functionally with other teams, including (software engineers, product managers, stakeholders) to deliver high-quality solutions
- R&D :Stay on top of latest advancements in mechatronics, lab automation, robotics to incorporate cutting-edge tech into our products
- Prepare comprehensive documentation/reports on system design, development processes, system performance analysis
What You Need for this Position
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related
- 4+ years in mechatronics engineering, with focus on lab automation, robotics, systems integration
- Circuit board design, embedded systems.
- Programming automation control systems, PLC's
- Sensor integration and application
- Knowledge of robotic systems and programming
- Analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, communication and teamwork abilities.
