Akkodis is seeking a QA Test Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Rosemead, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with testing tools, SAP/Non‑SAP testing environments, integration/regression testing, defect management, and test documentation. Rate Range: $68/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. QA Test Engineer Job Responsibilities Include • Identify and recommend appropriate testing methods such as system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing. • Create detailed test plans, write test scripts, and prepare test summary reports while maintaining all activities in HP ALM. • Communicate with customers and project teams to understand test requirements, scope, and deliverables. • Provide support to users during UAT, assist with test execution, and ensure accurate defect reporting and tracking. Desired Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing. • Hands‑on experience with HP ALM, HP UFT, HP Performance Center, and other testing tools. • Experience executing integration, regression, stopwatch, and various functional testing types. • Experience working in both SAP and Non‑SAP environments. • Experience with defect management systems, automation testing tools, and performance testing tools (preferred).
