About the Role
Highspring is seeking a QA Mobile Engineer to ensure the quality of our next-generation mobile applications. You will be a key member of our Incubator Team, responsible for validating 4-5 MVPs annually and maintaining the highest quality standards across all releases.
Working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, you'll collaborate with a cross-functional Rapid Prototyping Squad that includes developers, a Tech Lead, and a Scrum Master. Your primary focus will be on automating, testing, and upholding quality standards for Kotlin Multi-Platform (KMP) mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the quality advocate for MVPs, prototypes, and mobile applications.
• Design and implement test strategies, test cases, and test plans for mobile features.
• Automate testing of native mobile applications using tools like Appium to ensure efficiency and consistency.
• Analyze requirements and specifications to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to align on quality goals.
• Develop and execute automated regression tests to detect and resolve defects early.
• Track, report, and follow up on bugs to maintain a continuous feedback loop.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Stay current with emerging QA tools, methodologies, and best practices in mobile testing.
Your Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in mobile application quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with test automation for native mobile apps, especially using Appium or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile QA methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Solid programming skills in Java or other object-oriented languages for test automation.
• Experience with RESTful API testing is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Commitment to Clean Code principles and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
