Test Automation Developer - Insurance & Technology Company
This is an independent insurance company, serving both personal and commercial clients. The firm offers tailored insurance and risk management solutions across multiple industries, working with a wide network of insurers rather than a single provider. They are equally a technology company which has built an in-house software platform that is a no-code configurable platform for the distribution of financial products since 2020.
It is not just a service level platform; it is quite In-depth and in used by all their employees and users and the technology is currently looking at being licensed to other insurance brokers in the Similar to other detailed financial analytics platforms but geared towards the insurance industry.
More about role:
We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Developer to join the team and help drive quality for a live, high-impact platform that's already transforming the Insurance industry.
As part of a collaborative Scrum team, you’ll work in a mature CI/CD environment supporting a platform built with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) principles. This is a great opportunity to take automation to the next level—scaling, optimizing, and innovating on a product that's already in the hands of real users.
We are looking for someone who product minded and who can see things from a customer centric viewpoint. You would be joining a team of 3 developers, UX/UI Design and 1 Test Automation engineer who will be transitioning to Developer but will be there to support on the QA side as well.

Remote or Hybrid. Can be fully remote however would prefer to come in office 1-2 times a week but not required, however preferred.

Salary: 100-105k with flexibility + benefits + matching RRSP 2-4%+ 4 weeks’ vacation . In addition: you can work 4 weeks out of the year remotely from anywhere in the world. They also offer other perks as well including gym, office expense, electric car expense, 250% a year for entertainment ect. There is a discretionary bonus (company performance based)
Your Responsibilities
• Develop Test Automation framework;
• Implement test scenarios;
• Automate reporting of test suite results and collaborating with scrum team to resolve failures;
• Support Dev Ops initiatives and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
What you bring.
• A bachelor’s degree;
• 2+ years working in an Agile/Dev Ops environment ;
• 2+ years experience developing automated test frameworks and implementing test scenarios;
• Experience with Microsoft Playwright is preferred or Selenium.
• Excellent collaborative and problem-solving aptitude.
Not required but nice to have.
• Experience with C# and NUnit;
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP);
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure Dev Ops/Git Hub Actions/MSBuild);
• Experience implementing user story-based test scenarios (Gherkin syntax/

1) Meeting with CTO and Director of Development
2) Short Psychometric evaluation online test.
3) Meeting with Director Development and Current lead test automation
