**Performance Testing Specialist**

• *Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with the product management and engineering teams to assist in defining the performance requirements for new product releases
- Develop a comprehensive performance test strategies with the approach, metrics, high-level benchmarks, and baselines to determine basic requirements for the performance testing systems
- Design, implement, and maintain performance test frameworks, environment setups, and performance testing tools
- Create and execute manual/automated performance, scalability, longevity, and stress test scenarios to validate the product readiness for production
- Drive the overall automation design for continuous integration and delivery
- Investigate results for analytical components such as core and memory loads, response times, network bandwidth, and iops
- Report issues using the defect tracking tool and perform defect root cause analysis
- Track, communicate, and document task progress, status, and key performance metrics
- Publish performance test result reports with risk analysis and recommendations on quality improvements to the engineering leadership
- Recommend test processes and tools improvement to increase the testing quality
- Provide support and mentorship to junior performance testers

• *Technical Skills**
- 6+ years of experience of professional experience in quality assurance
- 3+ years of performance testing experience with various testing types: Load, stress, scalability, spike, volume, and endurance
- Good knowledge and practical experience in hybrid performance and load tools
- Experience with leading performance testing projects, including building infrastructures from scratch to support them
- Good programming/scripting skills: Python, Java, C++
- Advanced experience in Linux shell scripting and administration, including various monitoring tools and utilities: htop, iostat, nethogs, iptraf-ng, rsyslog
- Good knowledge and practical experience in various cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure
- Knowledge and experience in relational and non-relational databases: SQL, MongoDB
- Experience identifying memory usage, connection issues, and bottleneck problems in various technologies such as databases, web servers, and cloud infrastructures
- Ability to create datasets and isolate components in more extensive systems
- Good experience in continuous integration platforms
- Strong understanding of the software QA methodologies and processes
- Knowledge of Agile, Hybrid SDLC methodologies
