Production Support - Big Data

• Write python and/or shell scripting code OR java/ spark/ scala
• Hands on knowledge of industry standard DB technology - DB2, Exadata - or big data platforms - Hadoop, Horton Works, etc.
• Understand the different EPS code components so they can provide support in non-prod to other technical users
• Trouble shoot functional software issues - not necessarily digging thru code - ie configurations and setting
• Follow process and procedure to resolve incidents, follow thru to resolution and contribute to post-mortem process
• Implement best in class monitoring frameworks to accomplish end to end flow monitoring and noiseless alerting
• Be part of the 24x7 support coverage as needed
