What The Role Entails
Tencent Cloud is looking for a Product Solution Architect to support the growth of our Real-Time Communication (TRTC) business in Southeast Asia. This is a customer-facing, solution-oriented role that sits at the intersection of technology, business, and product. You will work closely with sales teams, partners, and customers to understand real-world communication scenarios, design practical solutions, and help drive adoption of Tencent Cloud’s RTC capabilities across industries such as education, live streaming, customer engagement, and interactive applications. This role does not require deep low-level RTC or codec expertise. We value candidates who can connect technology with business needs, communicate clearly with customers, and grow together with the product.
Responsibilities
• Act as a solution advisor for Tencent Cloud RTC / TRTC-related products, supporting sales and partners in customer engagements, solution discussions, and technical clarifications.
• Work with customers to understand their business goals and real-time communication use cases, and translate them into feasible solution architectures using Tencent Cloud services.
• Support Proof of Concept (PoC) activities, including solution design, technical validation, and coordination with internal product or engineering teams when needed.
• Collaborate with product teams to provide structured feedback from customers and the market, helping improve product positioning and capabilities.
• Support partner enablement and go-to-market activities, including solution training, workshops, and joint customer sessions.
• Represent Tencent Cloud at industry events, webinars, and customer meetings, presenting solution concepts, best practices, and market insights.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Solution architecture or presales engineering; Technical consulting or customer-facing technical roles; Cloud, CPaaS, RTC, streaming, or communication-related products.
• Foundational understanding of real-time communication or media-related concepts, such as: Live audio video streaming; Interactive communication scenarios; Basic knowledge of encoding, latency, network transmission, or RTC workflows. (Deep protocol or codec expertise is not required.)
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with customers, partners, or sales teams in solution discussions or business-driven technical engagements is highly valued.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) required to manage internal and external stakeholders across the globe. Proficiency in additional Southeast Asian languages is a plus.
