Product Handler – Shellburn Terminal The Product Handler is part of a 16‑person team responsible for delivering safe and reliable operations to Shell's fuel customers and acting as a supply point for other Shell terminals and product export. The role requires adherence to Shell and regulatory compliance, respect for Shell's Code of Conduct, and maintaining our "License to Operate." It involves day‑to‑day operations and serves as the key interface with contractors and carriers, overseeing product handling via rail, marine, pipeline, and truck, as well as maintenance and project activities. Responsibilities • Maintain compliance with company procedures and government regulations related to HSSE and agency permits. • Handle, receive, transfer, ship, and store petroleum products via pipeline, rail car, marine, and truck. • Physically offload railcars. • Provide general maintenance, surveillance checks, and housekeeping to support terminal assets. • Initiate emergency response actions for people and processes. • Resolve loading rack malfunctions. • Conduct quality assurance sampling and testing of products. • Accountable for compliance with company HSSE and regulatory procedures. What You Bring • Legal authorization to work full time in Canada. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. • Willingness to work outside in inclement weather. • Physical capability to unload railcars, including unbolting manways and connecting hoses under the railcar. • Willingness to climb ladders, walk up and down steps, and work at heights. • Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule. • Comfortable working alone outside normal business hours or with minimal supervision. • Willingness to work overtime, holidays, nights, and weekends. • Willingness to be on call and meet call‑out standards for site responsibilities and emergencies. • Willingness to support and comply with the company's safety policies and initiatives.
