Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Professional (Marine / Mechanical / Electrical) to manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination for marine, mechanical, and electrical materials and services. The role ensures cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality, compliance, and timely delivery in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Source, evaluate, and procure marine, mechanical, and electrical materials, equipment, and services
• Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms
• Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and purchase orders
• Coordinate with engineering, project, and site teams to understand technical and material requirements
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, company policies, and UAE regulations
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and material quality
• Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and supplier databases
• Manage cost control and support budget planning
• Handle expediting, inspection coordination, and logistics follow-ups
• Resolve supplier issues, claims, and discrepancies efficiently
Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience in marine, mechanical, or electrical sectors
• Strong knowledge of MEP and marine materials, specifications, and vendors
• Experience in UAE/GCC procurement processes and local suppliers
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple vendors and priorities under tight deadlines
