Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Platform Engineer to support and build end-to-end platform capabilities across on-premises and cloud environments. This role is focused on platform setup, administration, configuration, and integration rather than end-user development. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor with deep expertise in containerization, cloud platforms, system administration, and DevOps practices, and will provide Level 3 support for critical platform components.

• Design, set up, configure, and administer cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake, with a focus on platform enablement rather than user-level operations.
• Build and manage data platforms and pipelines, including access frameworks and abstraction layers.
• Lead supplier and vendor implementations in on-premises environments and integrate them with cloud-managed services.
• Implement, configure, and manage containerization technologies, including Kubernetes, across hybrid (on-prem and cloud) infrastructure.
• Perform advanced system administration tasks, including UNIX/Linux administration and scripting.
• Configure, integrate, and manage CI/CD pipelines for platform and code deployment (tooling ownership is not required; focus is on integration and configuration).
• Support infrastructure sizing, resizing, and cluster management for on-prem and cloud platforms.
• Provide Level 3 platform support, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring platform stability and performance.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to enable end-to-end platform delivery.
• Support the organization’s migration journey from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Continuously learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and platform capabilities.
Required Skills and Experience
• Strong experience working as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or System Administrator.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, including implementation, configuration, and deployment.
• Proven experience setting up and administering Databricks platforms (platform-level expertise, not user-level).
• Advanced UNIX/Linux system administration and Shell scripting skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline configuration and integration.
• Solid understanding of containerization, infrastructure management, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience working with on-premises infrastructure and integrating with cloud-managed services.
• Ability to work independently as a strong individual contributor.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and tools.

• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Snowflake administration.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale platforms and complex deployments.
