Location: 951 ages dr, Ottawa ON, K1G 6B3
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Overtime as required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• This position is a Fulltime position with no guaranteed hours or route assignments
• Cover Vacations/Sick Days/Overflow, with the possibility of a full-time position in the future
• If there is no driving work, there might be warehouse work available (4-6hrs)
• Use pulse scanner for all required activities on the daily route; all scannable waybills, laser waybills, and shipper’s own bar-coded labels must be scanned
• Delivery of all assigned material in the route area, within the specific requirements of both customer and Canpar Express Inc.
• Ability & willingness to drive in rural areas, inclement weather, winter conditions
• Pick up all assigned customer pick-ups within the specific guidelines of Customers and Canpar Express Inc.
• Compile and submit accurate route records daily
Accountabilities/Results
• Responsible for internal and external customer satisfaction
• Professional representation of Canpar Express Inc. at all times, including the maintenance and presentation of vehicles, uniform, etc.
• On-time pick-up and delivery of customer shipments
• Interact effectively with other members of the customer service and operation teams
Qualifications:
• Ability to operate commercial equipment
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract
• Criminal record check required
