The Security & Intelligence Team plays a crucial role in our studio operations worldwide. This Manager position will oversee the Production Security discipline, reporting directly to the Director of Security & Intelligence. In collaboration with Physical Production, Content Security, Post Production, Business and Legal Affairs, and Content teams, you will be vital in conducting risk assessments and creating effective security designs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a refined strategy for production security in alignment with assessed risks and business goals.
• Lead the creation and review of risk assessments, security plans, vendor management, local coordination, and incident response strategies.
• Provide specialized guidance for high-profile production activities, intellectual property, and specific locations.
• Conduct foresight analysis on global, regional, and local security events/trends to ensure resilient production operations.
• Gather and evaluate local intelligence and risk indicators to inform production planning and security architecture.
• Manage relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement, emergency response teams, and trusted security networks.
• Communicate security plans and significant developments to various internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee a small regional team with a remote reporting structure.
Qualifications:
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in security, intelligence, military, media production, or NGO sectors.
• Advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in production, talent relations, or content creation.
• A minimum of 3 years of team management experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to analyze regional security signals and conduct comprehensive risk assessments.
• Awareness of risk trends impacting the global entertainment industry.
• Effectively communicate analysis and forecasts to key stakeholders.
• Engage with a diverse range of internal and external partners.
• Willingness to travel regionally (approximately 25%-50%) and internationally as needed.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary without bonuses. You have the option each year to choose how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. The salary range for this role is $170,000.00 - $285,000.00.
