Logistics Officer
Our client is a US semiconductor trading organisation who are setting up a new office in Hong Kong, the Logistics Officer is the first critical hire for the company, that will lead the pathway to the growth and development of the office.
Budget: HK$20,000 - 25,000 per month + DB
Location: Tsuen Wan
Monday - Friday (9am-6pm)
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with internal teams (Purchasing, Finance, and Warehouse) to ensure that order information, customer requirements, and shipment instructions are accurately updated.
• Confirm that all documentation, including final invoices, sales orders, customer requirements, labels, airway bills, and export documents, accurately match the physical products before shipping.
• Managing logistics costs and transportation budgets; verify shipping invoices with service providers.
• Manage the palleting, wrapping, weighing, and loading of products for both domestic and international shipments.
• Assist in receiving inbound shipments; inspect items for damage and ensure accuracy prior to packing, adhering to specifications and quality standards.
• Package parts while removing foreign object debris and sanitizing vendor information for shipments.
• Confirm that all documentation, including final invoices, sales orders, customer requirements, labels, airway bills, and export documents, accurately match the physical products before shipping.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in managing logistics costs and transportation budgets; verify shipping invoices with service providers.
• Arrange special shipping requirements as needed, including urgent shipments or specific delivery arrangements.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
• Previous experience in packing, shipping, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Basic computer skills for managing inventory and shipping documentation.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and possess strong problem-solving skills; well-organized.
• A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently under pressure.
• Basic proficiency in spoken English and Mandarin.
