Lead UI Designer

Overview
We are seeking a
Lead UI Designer
to oversee and create new UI components and scalable design patterns that are user-friendly, accessible, and aligned with customer needs.
In this role, you will work closely with UX and UI designers to establish design standards across teams and collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality user interfaces. You will also manage and mentor UI designers, providing guidance throughout the design process and helping grow the team.
What You Will Do
• Lead design execution (in partnership with UX) for
AI-driven features
from discovery through delivery
• Own the details:
user flows, prototypes, interaction models, and final design specs
• Create clear, implementation-ready documentation for engineering teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align across
Product, Engineering, and Compliance
• Mentor designers through design critiques, feedback, and design reviews
• Contribute to and evolve
design standards and scalable UI systems
What You Must Have
• 10+ years
of UI / visual design experience across web, desktop, and mobile products
• 2+ years
leading designers or design initiatives (mentoring, guiding projects, stakeholder management)
• Proven experience delivering large-scale digital products and mature design systems
• Deep expertise in
design systems
, including:
• component libraries
• design tokens
• scalable UI frameworks
• governance and consistency across teams
• Strong prototyping skills to communicate concepts, validate ideas, and iterate quickly
• Excellent understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
• Strong experience partnering with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation
• Ability to treat design as a discovery process through experimentation and iterative validation
• Expert proficiency in
Figma
and strong visual design craft
• Comfortable designing responsive UI for
desktop, iOS, and Android
• Ability to clearly explain design decisions using evidence-based rationale and storytelling
• Strong design leadership presence—able to influence direction, elevate design culture, and communicate value to senior stakeholders
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
• Motion design / micro-animations experience is a plus
• Experience working in an
enterprise environment
