Who we are looking for We are seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on System Architecture, DevOps practices, and Technical Leadership. This role is responsible for designing, securing, and scaling our core platforms and leading technical execution across our development team. Fluency in both English and French is required. Graphem offers this position as a work‑from‑home opportunity. Key responsibilities • Design and maintain scalable, secure, and high‑performance system architecture on AWS • Lead technical decision‑making across backend, frontend, and DevOps implementation • Oversee database modeling, data optimization, and performance improvements • Drive CI/CD, deployment automation, and security best practices • Develop and maintain backend code using PHP/Laravel and custom WordPress solutions • Contribute to frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks • Perform code reviews, mentor other developers, and ensure high coding standards • Translate business objectives into actionable technical work plans • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide clear technical communication Qualifications • 5+ years of full‑stack development with leadership responsibilities • Proven experience with PHP, Laravel, , , WordPress, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and AWS • Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, DevOps workflows, and security practices • Experience building APIs and automated testing (e.g. PHPUnit) • Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) • Ability to lead teams, structure complex technical work, and deliver under constraints • Strong communication skills and ability to interface with non‑technical stakeholders Schedule and compensation The schedule is full‑time, Monday to Friday during regular business hours, in compliance with BC labor laws. Salary: $95K - $120K based on experience and qualifications.
