Looking for a Graphic designer who has a good knowledge to carry on the required printing jobs such as but not limited to (Business Card, Greeting Cards, Commercial Invoice Book,etc), and operating the centre print production. The Candidate will be trained to roll on as a Customer Service representative when needed to provide service to the store customers.
Duties &Responsibilities:
• Has a good knowledge about printing set up, and paper weight, size.
• Completes tasks in a quick turn environment.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to cooperate with other store team.
• Continuously practices good skills with customers, Store team members, and leadership.
• Effectively apply knowledge of printing concepts such as paper considerations, file formatting, and output settings.
• Apply knowledge of colour management to educate customer and make file adjustments as needed.
• Meet with customers to present concepts and adjust designs to fit their needs or taste.
• Manage quality control throughout production process to ensure finished product is correct and meets customer and the Store quality standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Minimum one to two years of experience or a two-year degree in graphic design, print industry or related knowledge of printing machine is preferable.
• Previous copy centre/print shop environment with customer interaction is preferable.
• Strong computer proficiency with of MS Office, Adobe based platforms (Acrobat, In Design, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
• Strong communication skills when dealing directly with the Customers.
• An organized, responsible, reliable and punctual team-player
• High attention to detail
• Must be an energetic self-starter who is driven to succeed
• Customer service oriented with effective communication skills
• Willing and able to work 25 to 30 hours per week for a 6-day work week
• Good Typing speed
