Backend Engineer – Advanced

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer (8–12 years) to design and build scalable backend services and APIs in a cloud-native environment. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AWS
, Java
, Spring Boot
, Python
, GraphQL
, and RESTful API design
. You will work closely with product, frontend, Dev Ops, and data teams to deliver secure, high-performance microservices and backend systems.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and Python
• Build and enhance APIs using Graph
QL and RESTful API standards
• Create scalable, secure, and high-performing microservices architecture
• Implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services such as:
Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, Dynamo
DB, API Gateway, Cloud Watch, IAM
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best engineering practices
• Optimize performance, reduce latency, and improve system reliability
• Implement authentication/authorization, API security, and data protection standards
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in code reviews
Required
Skills & Qualifications
• 8–12 years of Backend Development experience
• Strong hands-on in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
• Strong experience in AWS cloud services
• Experience working with Python backend development
• Expertise in Graph
QL API development
• Expertise in RESTful API design (best practices, versioning, error handling)
• Strong knowledge of SQL/No
SQL databases (RDS, Dynamo
DB, Postgre
SQL/MySQL etc.)
• Hands-on with CI/CD and Dev Ops practices
• Experience with logging/monitoring tools like Cloud Watch, Splunk, ELK, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
