• Position: Java Backend Software Engineer
• Location: WFH in SG / Temporary Relocate to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
• Working hours: 6 Days Work Week - Monday to Friday, 9.00AM to 7.00PM
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Salary Open to Negotiations + OT + AWS + Performance Bonus + 6 Monthly Salary Adjustments + Birthday/Festive/Marriage Allowance + Medical Benefits + Relocation Allowance + Accommodation Allowance (For relocation to KL) + 7-17 Days of Annual Leave + Yearly Travel Allowance

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain core backend systems with high quality and on-time delivery
• Build scalable, high-performance, and reliable systems to handle high concurrency
• Own software architecture, key components, and APIs; resolve performance and security issues
• Research and implement new technologies; develop reusable and modular components
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of Java development experience with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, MyBatis, or similar frameworks
• Strong database expertise in MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL, including SQL optimization
• Experience with middleware such as Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, etc.
• Proven experience in business system development with ability to propose system and process improvements
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with product and frontend teams
• Experience with distributed systems and big data processing is an advantage
• Candidates needs to have mandarin language proficiency to communicate with Mandarin speaking customers
