One of the leaders in information technology consultancy in cloud computing and information management in HK, is now seeking a Storage & Virtualization Engineer to join their professional team in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities
• Provide on-site technical support for customer service delivery and availability
• Acts as the primary onsite technical contact, providing customer visibility, troubleshooting support and problem resolution for corporate customers
• Complete technical tasks with the stakeholders to accomplish deployment project & Post-sales maintenance
• Manage Storage solutions such as storage consolidation, data protection, storage performance, backup and restore, disaster recovery.
• Manage Virtualization solutions for enterprise level.
• Prepare technical documentation, e.g. technical diagram & procedure, user guide and issue support reports
Requirements
• Diploma or above in Information Technology/Computing/Computer Science
• At least 2 years hands-on Field Service Experience and solid skill-set to configuration and troubleshooting of EMC, HDS and/or NetApp products and services (e.g., SAN and NAS storage communication technologies).
• Hands on working experience managing sizable System integration projects in Server Virtualization / VDI / Cloud (e.g.vSphere VMware, ESX, various Virtualization clients )
• Knowledge and experience in LAN / WAN / Unix / Linux or Windows system
• Experience of network or system monitoring and diagnostic tools is a plus
• Preferably with Storage Solutions & Virtualization Vendor certificate
• Customer oriented, independent & able to work under pressure
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Immediately available is highly preferred
