Job Title: IT Security Analyst (Cyber Security Operations)
Location: Toronto – 888 Birchmount Road
Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days onsite currently (may increase to 4)

Role Overview
We are seeking an IT Security Analyst to join the Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC), supporting security incident management, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) operations, and the development of incident response playbooks.
This role is highly hands-on and operational, focused on threat detection, investigation, response, and containment within a fast-paced SOC environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to Data Loss Prevention (DLP) alerts and incidents
• Perform cybersecurity investigations using intrusion detection and monitoring tools
• Investigate suspicious activity (e.g., phishing, data exfiltration, anomalous behavior)
• Build and maintain TTP-based detection frameworks (pattern and behavior-based use cases)
• Collaborate with business lines, IT support teams, and security control functions
• Support incident response playbook development and enhancement
• Participate in initiatives to improve security tooling, controls, and threat reduction strategies
• Clearly communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
Must-Have Skills & Experience
• 5+ years hands-on experience in network security, information security, SOC, or IT security operations
• 1+ year experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools, rules, and policy creation
• 2+ years experience developing and using TTP frameworks for detection and response
• 2+ years combined experience across:
• SOC operations
• Red team / vulnerability or web app assessments
• Security consulting (policy, compliance)
• Endpoint or device management
• Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Have
• Spanish language proficiency
• Security certifications (Security+, CySA+, Network+, A+, CISSP Associate)
