IT Project Manager – ICT Core Infrastructure, Active Components & SecurityEmployment Type: Full-timeReporting To: Head of Operations / COORole OverviewNationLabs is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead ICT Core Infrastructure, Active Network Components, and Security Projects across enterprise and government environments.The role requires strong experience in delivering secure-by-design infrastructure projects, including network security, data center security, cybersecurity platforms, and integrated ICT + security programs. The candidate will manage projects end-to-end—from design coordination and procurement to implementation, testing, compliance, and operational handover.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & GovernanceLead end-to-end ICT and Security projects from initiation to closureDefine project scope, milestones, budgets, timelines, and success criteriaDevelop and maintain project plans, risk registers, dependency logs, and RAID matricesManage change control, scope creep, and stakeholder expectationsEnsure alignment with security, compliance, and regulatory requirementsICT Core Infrastructure ManagementOversee delivery of core ICT infrastructure, including:Data centers (on-premises, cloud, and hybrid)Network backbone and structured cablingServers, storage, and virtualization platformsDisaster recovery and business continuity solutionsCoordinate infrastructure readiness across physical, logical, and operational layersActive Components & Network SystemsManage deployment and integration of active ICT components, including:Core, aggregation, and access switchesRouters, firewalls, and load balancersWireless infrastructure (controllers and access points)Network monitoring and management systemsEnsure performance, scalability, redundancy, and high availabilitySecurity Projects & SystemsLead delivery of ICT security and cybersecurity projects, including:Network security (firewalls, IPS/IDS, WAF, NAC)Endpoint and server security solutionsIdentity and Access Management (IAM) and privileged access systemsSecurity monitoring (SIEM/SOC integration)Coordinate security architecture alignment with ICT and business requirementsEnsure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory frameworksAct as the single point of contact for vendors, system integrators, and consultantsReview technical proposals, BoQs, security designs, and implementation methodologiesCoordinate with internal stakeholders (IT, security, operations, management)Lead vendor meetings, FAT/SAT sessions, and acceptance sign-offsImplementation, Testing & HandoverOversee installation, configuration, integration, and commissioning activitiesEnsure proper system testing, security validation, and acceptance testingManage as-built documentation, configuration baselines, and asset registersEnsure structured handover to operations with training, SOPs, and knowledge transferRisk, Quality & ComplianceIdentify and mitigate project, technical, and security risks proactivelyEnforce quality assurance across ICT and security deliverablesSupport audits, inspections, and compliance reviewsEnsure adherence to cybersecurity policies, data protection standards, and best practicesRequired QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related fieldExperience6–10+ years of overall IT experience5+ years as an IT Project Manager handling ICT infrastructure and security projectsCore ICT infrastructure and data center projectsEnterprise networks and active componentsCybersecurity and security system implementationsExperience with government, regulated, or mission-critical environments preferredTechnical SkillsStrong understanding of:LAN/WAN and network security designCybersecurity platforms and controlsServer, storage, virtualization, and DR conceptsAbility to review and challenge technical and security designsProject Management & CertificationsStrong command of project governance, scheduling, budgeting, and reportingPMP certification strongly preferredITIL certification is an advantageSoft SkillsStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to operate in high-pressure, multi-vendor environmentsDetail-oriented with strong ownership and accountability
