Position: Intermediate Solutions Designer
Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an Intermediate Solutions Designer to design, build, and integrate solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform—supporting both TRAC and custom apps—and to lead hands‑on systems integration with Azure and healthcare standards (HL7), REST/SOAP services, and IBM middleware across complex, high‑availability public‑sector environments.
Scope
• Architecture & Design: Design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and enhance technical/data/application architectures for TRAC and Microsoft Dynamics‑based solutions; decompose complex requirements for multiple environments.
• Backlog & Analysis: Collaborate with the project team to ensure product backlog items and BA materials (user stories/specifications) have sufficient detail and acceptance criteria.
Assignment Deliverables
• Solution Architecture Artifacts: Current/future‑state diagrams, integration patterns, API specifications, security and data flow designs.
• Implementation Assets: Configurations (Dynamics/Power Platform), code repositories, pipelines, build/release notes.
• Testing Packages: Test strategy, test cases (functional, integration, performance), data sets, and traceability to user stories.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
• Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform (model‑driven apps, Power Apps) plus integration experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, HL7, SOAP & REST APIs, and web‑integration.
• Experience designing and delivering solutions across all phases of the SDLC in Agile environments, meeting aggressive timelines.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with a track record of partnering across business, vendors, security, and architecture teams.
Nice to Have:
• Performance dashboards (application & integration KPIs) for product owners.
• Automation accelerators (scripts/templates) for environment setup, CI/CD, and test data seeding.
