Position: Infrastructure Systems Administrator (Windows/Linux)
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our IT infrastructure across multiple venues. This role is responsible for the administration of Windows servers, Red Hat-based Linux servers, cloud resources, and hyperconverged infrastructure platforms like Nutanix and VMware vSAN. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and performance across all systems by proactively monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing best practices.
You will support business continuity, scalability, and operational excellence in both on-premises and cloud environments. This position plays a crucial part in enabling seamless IT operations through robust system management, automation, and security compliance. Your expertise in both Windows and Linux environments will be critical to our success. A key focus will be on automating server provisioning, configuration management, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure administration, with at least 2 years focused on both Windows Server and Linux environments.
• In-depth proficiency in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Power Shell automation.
• Advanced management skills for Red Hat-based Linux distributions (e.g., RHEL, CentOS), including shell scripting and performance tuning.
• Proven experience with virtualization and hyperconverged platforms, specifically VMware and Nutanix.
• Hands-on experience managing resources (VMs, storage, networking) in public and hybrid cloud environments.
• Expertise in enterprise backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and execution.
• Demonstrated ability to automate infrastructure tasks using tools like Ansible, Bash, and Power Shell.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, or Solar Winds for performance and capacity management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft (MCSE), Linux (RHCE), VMware (VCP), or Nutanix (NCP).
• Cloud certifications from providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with server hardening and ensuring compliance with security benchmarks like CIS.
• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills for working in a team environment.
