I’m looking for a senior, hands-on AI engineer to help build the core intelligence layer of a new B2B SaaS platform. This is a founding role for someone who wants to design and build real AI systems — not demos, not chatbots bolted onto workflows, and not endless CRUD features.
If you enjoy solving hard problems around prediction, learning from behavior, and turning messy real-world data into reliable outcomes, keep reading.
What you’ll be building
You’ll architect and implement AI-driven systems that:
• Ingest and reason over structured and unstructured business data
• Generate forward-looking predictions and probabilistic forecasts
• Learn and improve accuracy over time based on:
• Historical outcomes
• Individual user behavior
• Feedback loops and variance analysis
• Interact with users via intelligent, conversational workflows
• Ask targeted questions and incorporate responses into real-time predictions
• Integrate large language models into production systems (prompting, orchestration, evaluation, guardrails)
• Connect with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot
• Scale reliably and transparently so users trust the outputs
You’ll be making core architectural decisions — this is not an “implement someone else’s design” role.
What I’m looking for
Must have
• 5–10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong Python background (or equivalent) for AI/data-heavy systems
• Hands-on experience with:
• Machine learning models (forecasting, probabilistic, or time-series a plus)
• LLM integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Data pipelines and feature extraction
• Experience building systems that learn from user behavior over time
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and shaping solutions from first principles
Nice to have
• Experience with prediction, recommendation, or forecasting systems
• Familiarity with CRM data models (Salesforce, HubSpot, RevOps tooling)
• Experience designing AI agents or multi-step reasoning workflows
• Startup or early-stage company background
• Exposure to B2B SaaS, revenue operations, or sales analytics
How you work
• You think in systems, not just features
• You care about accuracy, explainability, and trust
• You’re opinionated, pragmatic, and comfortable owning outcomes
• You like building things that actually get used
Why this role
• Founding-level impact
• Real AI problems, not hype projects
• Direct collaboration with a founder who brings deep domain expertise and customer access
• Meaningful Equity
📩 Interested?
Send a short note on:
• Why this role caught your attention
• Relevant systems you’ve built (GitHub, products, case studies, or write-ups)
If you’re a builder who wants to apply AI to real decision-making — not slide decks — I’d love to talk.
