- Directs and manages project development from beginning to end
- Defines project scope, goals, and deliverable that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Develops full-scale project plans and associate communication documents
- Communicates project expectation to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clean fashion
- Manages team(s) toward on-time, under-budget project delivery
- Identifies, assesses, manages, and resolves issues and mitigate risks
- Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
- Drafts and submits budget proposals and recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary
- Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
- Delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
- Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path
- Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Tracks project milestones and deliverables
- Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
- Manages changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
- Builds, develops, and grows any business relationships vital to the success of the project
- Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
- Collaborates with cross-functional resources yet can operate with the appropriate level of independence
- Creates and maintains a detailed project plans, issues log, risk register, status reports, and other required documentation
- Provides mentoring for more Junior Team Members
- Experience managing programs/project within large, complex environments
- Experience creating and maintaining project plans, issue logs, risk register, and status reports
- Strong technical aptitude, organization, analytical, and project management skills
- Experience work with Executive level management
- Excellent written and oral communications skills that are audience appropriate with appropriate style and delivery to influence audience
