We are creating an AI-driven personal assistant for users that will be embedded within websites and applications. This solution goes beyond traditional chatbots in several exciting ways:

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Ownership: Engage deeply with product development—utilize the product, gather customer feedback, and propose improvements. Everyone takes ownership here, regardless of their role.
• Feature Development: Manage full-stack feature development from ideation to implementation.
• Innovation Exploration: Experiment with new AI models, techniques, and libraries to advance our offerings.
Examples of Daily Tasks:
• Collaborate with the AI Engineering Lead to debug issues faced by agents and design effective solutions.
• Create pipelines to detect and fill gaps in knowledge bases.
• Test new models and libraries, providing feedback to the team about viable options for production.
• Participate in customer debug sessions to identify agent failures and implement fixes swiftly.
Requirements:
• Experience in developing full-stack features and applications.
• Proficient in relevant technologies (we use Python for backend and React for the frontend).
• Strong product intuition to identify and suggest enhancements proactively.
• Able to move quickly while making informed trade-offs.
• Exemplary ownership of features and commitment to code quality.
• Familiarity with LLMs/AI through professional experience or personal interest.
Bonus Qualifications:
• Experience in a startup or skunkworks team, thriving in uncertain environments.
• Development of agents using frameworks like Pydantic AI.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with applications utilizing Temporal.
• Experience building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.

Salary Information:
Colorado range: $159,000 - $239,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission).
New York City salary range: $177,000 - $266,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission).
San Francisco Bay Area salary range: $177,000 - $266,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission).
California outside San Francisco Bay Area range: $159,000 - $239,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission).
Washington state range: $159,000 - $239,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission).
In Washington, employees enjoy unlimited PTO, 10 to 13 holidays annually, various medical plans, and a company-sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
