Platform & Applications Software Engineer (Full-Stack) – Individual Contributor (IC)
Required Experience:Minimum 3 years to 5 years of experience in full-stack software development and working with production systems.
Salary Range:SAR 3,000 – 4,000 (based on experience, qualifications, and interview assessment).
Role Purpose:Design, develop, operate, and continuously improve the company’s platforms and applications using modern technologies. The role requires end-to-end technical ownership of assigned modules/services—from analysis and development to release and production support—while ensuring quality, security, and reliability, and handling incidents and vulnerabilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-Stack Development
Develop front-end and back-end components and build platform services.
Develop and document APIs (REST/Graph QL) and integrate with databases and external services.
Improve performance, scalability, and overall code quality.
Hands-on experience in designing and building efficient, reliable APIs, including versioning, documentation, and integration testing with other systems.
Production Ownership & Reliability
Monitor systems and analyze logs/metrics/traces (Logs/Metrics/Tracing).
Troubleshoot incidents promptly and methodically and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
Participate in incident response/on-call rotation (as per company policy) and prepare runbooks.
Quality Assurance & Testing (QA)
Create and maintain automated Unit/Integration/E2E tests and integrate them into CI/CD.
Follow coding standards and actively participate in code reviews to reduce post-release defects.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
Document architecture, APIs, deployment, and operational procedures.
Propose and implement technical improvements to enhance stability and reduce incidents.
Preferred Certifications:
AWS/Azure/GCP (Developer or Solutions Architect – Associate)

Preference for candidates with experience in booking/marketplace/travel platforms or similar systems (e.g., booking platforms / vacation rental).
