Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

We are looking for interns for the below Summer Student Opportunities.Depending on your team assignment, here is a glimpse of what you will do here(in addition to other administrative duties, as assigned):
Accounting Services
• Manage and reconcile payments, bank deposits, and account discrepancies, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and records.
• Prepare, compile, and dispatch various financial documents, including invoices, statements, reports, and cheques, while handling broker billing statements and payments.
• Review and resolve cash reports, adjust journal entries, process cheque requisitions, and manage banking information, payment schedules, and premium refunds.
Underwriting (Commercial/PersonalLines)
• Support the underwriting team by processing and amending new business, endorsements,renewalsand cancellations within established authority level inaccordance with company policies and procedures.
• Refer risks to underwriters based on complexity and authority level.
Administrative Support
• Perform various recurring administrative tasks such as shipping of documents,equipmentor correspondence, entering data,scanningor filing, requisitioning equipment or supplies, setting up workstations, etc.
• Manage correspondence andensure the quality and accuracy of information.
• Transcribe data from documents or databases using standardized practices.
• Beyond daily tasks, this role includes mentorship, shadowing,andreal businessexposure to help build skills that last past the summer.
• Note:This position requires an in-office presencefive daysa week.
Claims
• Prepare forms and correspondence to insurance clients,vendorsand legal representatives.
• Manage file storage and retrieval process for closed files.
• Open new claims and assignappropriate claimsadjusters.
• Process payments on claim files and input data to support new claims intake and handling.
• Note:This position requires an in-office presencefour daysa week.
What you bring to the table:
• Currently pursuing aBachelor'sdegree/college diploma in Business, Commerce, or anything related
• Availableto workwithus full-time, 35hoursperweek, for the Summer 2026Term(May to August)
• Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school in nextFall 2026following your internship
• You are passionate about insurance and continuing education
• You are motivated and driven to succeed.
