JOB Summary :
The Enterprise Architecture (EA) Tool Specialist is responsible for the effective design, configuration, administration, and continuous optimization of the Orbus iServer EA platform. The role ensures the EA tool enables enterprise-wide visibility, supports architecture governance, integrates with related systems, and provides reliable, high-quality architecture data to support strategic decision-making.
Development & Design:
• Configure and customize Orbus iServer metamodels, viewpoints, and repositories to align with the organization’s EA frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate). • Design architecture content structures covering business, data, application, and technology domains. • Develop reusable templates, reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support architecture analysis and decision-making. • Support integration of Orbus iServer with other enterprise tools (e.g., CMDB, portfolio management, BPM, or project tools).
Collaboration & Leadership:
• Work closely with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, and domain architects to translate architectural needs into tool capabilities. • Act as the primary point of contact for EA tooling across the organization. • Guide and coach architects and analysts on effective usage of Orbus iServer. • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to drive adoption of EA standards and tooling practices.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
• Identify opportunities to enhance EA tooling capabilities, automation, and reporting. • Proactively evaluate new Orbus iServer features and recommend adoption where beneficial. • Optimize architecture workflows to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency. • Promote innovative use of EA data for strategic planning, impact analysis, and transformation initiatives.
