Job description:
Data Architect to join the team and take its overall analytics practice to the next level. In this role, you will be at the heart of building world-class analytics solutions.
Tasks
• Establish and maintain the company's overall data model, in close collaboration with business lines, the data governance team, and data engineers across the organization.
• Gather business requirements to create relational, dimensional, or Data Vault data models to support different use cases.
• Review the data models proposed by engineers, analysts and data scientists in order to optimize them, align them with the overall model and operationalize them, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and laws such as GDPR and SOX.
• Define and implement the architectural elements necessary to ensure the speed, quality, security and availability of data.
• Continuously improve the BI platform architecture, from raw data capture to the presentation layer.
• To act as a leader in defining best practices and to encourage creative thinking.
Requirements
Required
• Master's degree in Business Intelligence (AI)
• Solid and proven experience with various modeling techniques:
• Relational
• Dimensional
• Expertise in companies with more than 10,000 employees
Know-how/being
• Team player, open-minded and always willing to discuss the proposed model or approach.
• Strong organizational skills, able to build a "game plan" and prioritize tasks despite conflicting deadlines.
• Constantly proposes creative ideas for improvement and loves exploring new technologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, in French and English, able to prepare and present reports to senior management.
• Experience working in an agile delivery model.
• Bilingualism (English and French)
