Job Summary of Enterprise Architect:
This position is responsible for shaping technology strategy by aligning business objectives with scalable architectural solutions. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Enterprise Architect:
• Partner with business leaders to define target capabilities, value streams, and performance metrics, translating them into actionable technology roadmaps.
• Oversee current-state and future-state architecture across applications, data, integration, and infrastructure to identify gaps and optimize systems.
• Establish lean architectural standards and reference patterns that support rapid and secure product delivery.
• Lead modernization initiatives including cloud-first strategies, microservices, APIs, automation, and event-driven architectures.
• Guide integration strategy across API management, messaging, and streaming to support reusable and scalable services.
• Align data platform strategy, governance, and analytics capabilities with business outcomes and AI-driven opportunities.
• Embed security, privacy, and resilience into architectural designs to support operational stability.
• Collaborate with finance teams to develop investment plans and track value through ROI and performance metrics.
• Mentor architecture and engineering teams to elevate technical decision-making and solution design.
• Lead architecture forums and communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Define standards for observability, reliability, and performance while reducing technical debt.
• Support vendor evaluations and build-or-buy decisions to ensure flexibility, interoperability, and cost effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience of Enterprise Architect:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Eight or more years of experience in architecture roles within dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Expertise across cloud platforms, microservices, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, event streaming, and integration patterns.
• Strong communication abilities with the skill to present complex strategies clearly.
• Understanding of security frameworks including identity management, zero trust principles, compliance, and data protection.
• Experience working within Agile and Lean delivery models.

Salary:
• Compensation range of $131,000 to $183,500 based on experience and qualifications.
