Job Description
The role is responsible for defining and maintaining the IT application architecture blueprint by mapping all existing and new applications, including capabilities, capacity, and integrations across the portfolio.
It supports large-scale technology and capability development initiatives by providing architectural guidance on application selection, integration, reporting, and analytics.
The role works closely with Business Architecture to translate business requirements into compliant, end-to-end technical solutions aligned with the overall application portfolio strategy.
It also leads application lifecycle management to ensure systems remain compliant, fit for purpose, and future-ready, while acting as the SPOC for cloudification initiatives.
Key Accountabilities:
• Contribute to the creation and review of the overall applications portfolio strategy in alignment with the Architecture blueprint.
• Analyze changes to applications design, capabilities and interfaces through projects and CR's as might be required to ensure that the overall applications portfolio and interfaces are optimized and aligned with the IT Architecture blueprint
• Support conversion of Business Use Cases for New Applications or New Capabilities on existing Applications.
• Participate in projects as subject matter expert to understand business and technology specific requirements across applications and ensure maximum reuse of existing system capabilities
• Support development and presentation of business cases for initiatives linked to changes in existing capabilities or development of new capabilities across all applications leading to approval of funding and prioritization of different projects
• Coordinate with Business Architecture and other IT teams on a need basis to evaluate new capabilities vs. reusing existing capabilities across applications
• Coordinate with Business Architecture and Solution Architecture teams to ensure that new capabilities being delivered are modular and interoperable with existing business architecture
• Plan and prepare personal development plans for self.
• Support institutionalization of new system capabilities and interfaces to improve standardization and alignment with business requirements and use cases
• Support the IT architecture governance processes
Qualifications, Experience And Skills:
• 8+ years of experience in IT or Technology roles within the Telecom industry.
• Proven experience in the design, development, and delivery of complex OSS/BSS/ESS solutions, including highlevel system integration using EAI across multiple backend systems, network elements, and touchpoints.
• Strong capability in understanding business requirements and translating them into clear, scalable application and system solutions.
• Solid working knowledge of Telecom OSS/BSS/ESS architectures and processes.
• Handson experience in application capacity management, including baseline definition, trend analysis, and impact assessment.
• Demonstrated project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate, report, and present effectively to senior management.
• Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and technologylearning skills, with the ability to quickly grasp new platforms and solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customercentric, resultsoriented, and collaborative mindset, complemented by negotiation, conflict resolution, and a proactive cando attitude
