This hands-on experience will equip you with practical skills, build your network, and provide opportunities that set you up for success.  Your Opportunity Stantec is seeking a motivated Engineering Student to support the delivery of complex Ports and Marine Terminals projects across British Columbia. The role offers hands-on experience contributing to all phases of project execution including planning and design while developing core technical competencies pertaining to marine infrastructure. Your Key Responsibilities • Provide general support to the project management team, including administrative tasks. • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities. • Help prepare project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes. • Assist in monitoring project budgets and financials. • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements. • Assist in preparing drawings, calculations, drafting technical reports, memorandums, and other technical documents. Your Capabilities and Credentials • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines. • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. • Currently enrolled in co-op or equivalent post-secondary program with availability for a 4-month internship. Education and Experience Currently enrolled in an accredited Civil or Structural Engineering degree program. Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Pay Range: • $23.37 - $32.07 Hourly Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
