Your Role: As an Electrical Designer or Engineer in our Mission Critical Data Center practice, you will have the opportunity to design, coordinate, and deliver essential electrical building systems. Depending on your level of experience, your responsibilities may include performing engineering calculations, preparing and reviewing design documents, managing project tasks, providing leadership, mentoring colleagues, and engaging in business development. Our Electrical Services Include: • Power Systems Design & Distribution • Medium Voltage Design • Emergency & Standby Power Generation • Lighting Systems & Controls Design • Lightning Protection • Grounding Design • Fault Current & Overcurrent Coordination Studies • Arc Flash Studies • Emergency Egress Illumination • Solar & Wind Power Design Responsibilities: • Assist in preparing detailed design documents under the guidance of seasoned engineers. • Contribute to the review of shop drawings to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. • Support engineering calculations as directed. • Engage in business development or pursuit activities with supervision. • Participate in client, company, and industry events as needed. • Maintain a client-focused mindset. • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to assess client requirements and scope of work. • Act as a liaison to communicate client and architect inquiries and relay responses accordingly. • Observe job sites for learning opportunities. • Continuously seek to enhance your industry knowledge. • Become proficient with industry-standard software, including Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office. Key Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. • Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is preferred. • Relevant internship experience is a plus. • Fundamental understanding of engineering design principles, A&E industry, codes, and standards. • Familiarity with Revit and Bluebeam Revu is advantageous. • Data Center experience is strongly preferred.
