Job Description:
The Electrical System Design Engineer / PLC Programmer will design and program PLC-based control systems from start to finish. This role focuses on industrial heating applications, specifically combustion and burner systems. Responsibilities include developing user interfaces, integrating control systems with manufacturing processes, testing and validating automated systems, troubleshooting during commissioning, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve system performance. Documentation of all project phases is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, program, and implement PLC-based control systems for industrial heating applications.
· Develop user interfaces and integrate systems with existing manufacturing processes.
· Test and validate automated systems to ensure functionality and efficiency.
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting during commissioning and start-up.
· Collaborate with engineering teams to innovate and enhance control system performance.
· Document all phases of design and programming.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Automation, or related field.
· 3–5 years of PLC programming and design experience, managing projects from start to finish.
· Industrial heating or burner combustion experience is required.
· Proficiency with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or other major PLC platforms.
· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
