About the RoleOur client in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst for a 3‑month onsite contract. This role will provide Tier 1 support to approximately 200 users, focusing on software and hardware troubleshooting within a Microsoft environment. You will handle incoming requests through Jira, resolve frontline technical issues, and ensure a smooth end-user experience.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the first point of contact for Tier 1 technical support via walk-ups and Jira ticketsTroubleshoot Windows OS, MS 365 apps, desktops/laptops, printers, peripherals, and basic network issuesDocument, update, and close tickets in Jira following internal standardsPerform basic Active Directory tasks including password resets and group membership updatesImage, configure, and deploy workstationsSupport meeting room technology and AV setupsEscalate unresolved issues to Tier 2/System teams as neededMaintain asset tracking and follow standardized proceduresProvide clear communication and excellent customer service to all users
