Location: Export Development Canada operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring employees to work in the office 2 days per week (subject to change). Team Overview: • Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS) group established in 2023 to deliver secure digital experiences. • Enterprise Data Operations and Technology (EDOT) group focuses on optimizing the data ecosystem. • The Data Product Owner collaborates with business and IT stakeholders to translate needs into a strategic product roadmap. What You Will Be Doing: • Develop product vision, OKRs, and communicate them to stakeholders. • Create business cases, drive product messaging, and customer outreach. • Build relationships with business/IT stakeholders to gather feedback and refine the product. • Scope the Minimal Viable Product (MVP) considering resource constraints. • Maintain the product backlog and prioritize user stories based on business value. • Identify and raise dependencies to Family Product Owner and Architecture Owners, and help resolve them. • Collaborate on technical debt optimization and define the technical roadmap. • Empower teams to be autonomous, role‑model servant leadership, and remove impediments. • Conduct sprint events, support the team daily, and accept sprint results. • Own key KPIs for the squad, managing forecasting and variance monitoring. • Provide functional onboarding for new team members. • Consistently represent the voice of the customer with a data‑driven approach. What We Are Looking For: • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related discipline. • Minimum 7 years of experience in product design, business analysis, product ownership, management, development, or solution delivery. • Experience designing customer‑centric data products in transactional data domains. • Hands‑on experience with Azure Data Platform technologies. • Knowledge of best practices for data pipeline development, version control, CI/CD. • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills. What Will Make You Stand Out: • Experienced practitioner of Agile and Scrum. • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Advanced CSPO (A‑CSPO). • Technical understanding of data technologies and platforms. • Bilingual in both English and French.
