Data Distribution SME / Expert en distribution de donnes On behalf of our banking client, Procom is seeking a Data Distribution SME for a 12 months + extension possibility contract role. This position is an onsite role at our clients Montral, Quebec office. Data Distribution SME - Job Description: The Data Distribution SME is responsible for managing and supporting a variety of reporting and Managed File Transfer (MFT) products/applications such as proprietary systems like COMET and Infoblast mail, and vendor products such as Connect Direct (NDM) used by our external clients. The role involves applying advanced knowledge to manage application server and SFTP/FTPS server administration, technical troubleshooting, server and application deployments, and task automation. Data Distribution SME - Responsibilities: Administer application servers and SFTP/FTPS servers. Troubleshoot technical infrastructure and user incidents. Deploy servers and applications. Automate operational tasks. Data Distribution SME - Mandatory Skills: Minimum 7 years of experience in an operations support role. Strong knowledge of FTP/STFP, SQL, databases, and general MFT technologies. Proficient in Unix/Linux and Windows infrastructure/application system administration. Scripting skills in Java, PowerShell, Python (preferred), Perl, or Shell Scripting. Experience in troubleshooting complex issues related to network, databases, storage, security, and operation systems. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Availability for weekend and on-call work. Data Distribution SME Nice-to-Have Skills: Previous experience working with File transfer services or related applications. Data Distribution SME Assignment Length: This is a 12 months + extension possibility contract position. Data Distribution SME - Start Date: ASAP Data Distribution SME - Assignment Location: Montral, Quebec, onsite presence required 3x/week. Day 1 onboarding onsite.
