Product Analytics & UX Insights Manager

Role Purpose
Bridge data and design by owning behavioural analytics and UX insights. This role lives in Mixpanel / equivalent to this tool and session tools (Hotjar/Clarity), turning user and merchant behaviour into concrete UX hypotheses, A/B tests, and prioritised recommendations that reduce friction, boost activation, and grow TPV across all Thawani products.
Key Responsibilities
Behavioural Analytics Ownership
Own the configuration and usage of Mixpanel (or equivalent):
o Event taxonomy and naming
o Funnels across key journeys (onboarding, KYC, funding, payments, remittance, Sama, Athar, merchant flows)
o Cohorts, retention charts, and usage patterns.
Own session analytics tools (Hotjar / Clarity):
o Heatmaps, scroll maps, and session recordings
o Journey visualisation to detect friction, confusion, or bugs.
Insights, Hypotheses & Experimentation
Identify UX and product friction points and opportunities across:
o Thawani Pay app (consumer side)
o Mojab card & Mojab Go usage
o Merchant solutions (Tajer, Merchant Portal, Payment Gateway, Payment Link).
Turn findings into clear UX hypotheses and problem statements, with quantified impact potential.
Partner with UI & UX Manager and Product to design and run A/B or multivariate tests; track test metrics and draw statistically sound conclusions.
Reporting & Communication
Produce regular UX & Behaviour Insights reports summarising:
o Key trends, issues, and quick wins
o Experiments results and learnings
o Recommendations for backlog priorities.
Collaborate closely with the Senior Growth & Product Data Analyst to ensure UX findings are reflected in broader KPI and board-level narratives.
Qualifications & Experience
6 10+ years in Product Analytics, UX Research, or Growth roles, preferably in FinTech, payments, or consumer apps.
Hands-on experience with Mixpanel (or similar product analytics), Hotjar / Clarity, GA4/Firebase, and experimentation tools.
Strong analytical skills; SQL and comfort with querying the data warehouse are a plus.
Proven ability to turn behavioural data into UX and product changes with measurable impact.
Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex behavioural patterns into simple stories and priorities for designers, product managers, and leadership.
