Role Overview As a Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our clients to effectively implement and utilize Atomus' cybersecurity products. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining compliance with NIST 800-171 and CMMC standards while addressing technical challenges. Our customers rely on Atomus to secure their diverse range of devices—Windows, MacOS, Ubuntu, iOS, Android—and firewall systems while ensuring they meet compliance requirements. We strive to provide unparalleled support, answering questions and simplifying our clients' compliance and security processes. You will act as the voice of the customer, sharing insights with our product team and reporting issues to our software engineers, as we are committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences. Key Responsibilities • Guide new customers through the onboarding process, ensuring proper setup, configuration, and alignment with their security needs while establishing compliance with NIST 800-171 and CMMC through technical tasks and project management. • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries, providing diagnostic, troubleshooting, and resolution support for IT/security issues related to the Atomus platform. • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, engineering) and partners/vendors to communicate customer requirements and advocate for their needs during product development and the rollout of third-party products. • Assist customers in managing compliance with NIST 800-171 and CMMC, ensuring that IT documentation is consistently updated and maintained. Essential Skills • Experience in a customer-facing technical role—such as IT administrator, solutions engineer, Technical Customer Success, or TAM—preferably within cybersecurity or compliance. • Strong background in cybersecurity frameworks and technologies, including NIST, CMMC, firewalls, routers, and encryption tools. • Intermediate knowledge of networking concepts, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and switches. • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Windows, MacOS, and mobile platforms like Android and iOS. • Advanced skill level with Microsoft products such as Exchange, SharePoint, Windows, and Active Directory. • Familiarity with command-line tools (e.g., PowerShell, Terminal) for troubleshooting and deployment processes. • Outstanding troubleshooting ability, particularly in network security and software issues. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex topics to diverse audiences. • High emotional intelligence, allowing for effective matches with customer sentiments during communication. Preferred Skills • Prior experience with compliance standards like NIST 800-171 and CMMC. • Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and onboarding projects simultaneously. • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and compliance documentation tools while managing SLAs related to customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
