Job Description Job Summary: This Cyber Security Managing Director is responsible for ensuring excellence in service delivery, driving business development and revenue growth, and fostering a high-performing team through effective people management. The ideal candidate will combine deep cybersecurity expertise with strong business acumen to expand our client portfolio, deliver high-impact solutions, and position the practice as a market leader in cybersecurity consulting services. Job Duties: Service Delivery • Oversees the end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity consulting services, including risk assessments, threat modeling, incident response, compliance advisory, security architecture, and managed security services. • Ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, while maintaining client satisfaction and managing risks. • Develops and implements best practices, methodologies, and tools to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness. Develops and implements modern and relevant offerings to further enhance and mature the practice service catalog. • Leads complex client engagements, providing thought leadership and ensuring alignment with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS). Business Development • Drives revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding relationships with existing clients. • Leads sales efforts, including proposal development, pitching services, and negotiating contracts. Coordinate with priority account programs and other internal sales and go to market activities. • Develops and executes go-to-market strategies for cybersecurity offerings, staying ahead of emerging threats and market trends. • Manages project-based forecasting, budgeting, utilization, and profitability targets. Additional Duties • Represents the practice externally through speaking engagements, industry events, and thought leadership content. • Collaborates with other firm leaders to integrate cybersecurity services across broader consulting offerings to drive cross sell and client expansion. • Monitors regulatory changes and evolving cyber threats to inform practice strategy • Other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities: • Builds, mentor, and lead a team of cybersecurity consultants, managers, and specialists, promoting professional development and career growth. • Fosters a collaborative, inclusive culture that attracts and retains top talent in the cybersecurity field. • Oversees recruitment, performance management, and succession planning for the practice. • Provides coaching and guidance to ensure team members deliver exceptional results and maintain high morale. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Education: • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, required • Bachelor's degree with a Focus in Cybersecurity / Information Security, Technology, preferred Experience: • Twelve (12) or more years of progressive experience in cybersecurity overseeing end to end delivery, service offerings and best practices, required • Five (5)+ or more years of experience in a senior leadership role within a consulting firm or professional services environment, required • Proven track record in business development, including generating and closing multi-million-dollar deals in cybersecurity services, required • Extensive experience managing service delivery for complex cybersecurity projects and leading high-performing teams, preferred • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, technologies, and best practices (e.g., threat intelligence, zero trust, cloud security),required or preferred Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team • Strong communication and relationship building skills. Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment to corporate mission • Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions • Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems • Capacity to work in a deadline-driven environment while handling multiple projects/tasks simultaneously with a focus on details • Capable of successfully multi-tasking while working independently or within a group environment • Capable of working well under pressure while dealing with unexpected problems in a professional manner • Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills • Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
