Manage and supervise the daytoday security force to ensure the safety and security of all guests employees and hotel property Design implement and train employees on preventive security programs Conduct patrols and regular checks on all Security Officers to assure that they are alert and discharging their duties efficiently and effectively Conduct all criminal investigations put up investigation papers /documents and report cases in connection with crime subversions potential liabilities and insurance requirements Assist colleagues in handling of unusual guests or employees issues such as but not limited to disorderly conduct thefts suicides bomb threats employee or guest accidents fire or safety hazards robberies terrorist activities civil disturbances power or elevator failures medical assistance and natural disasters Keep abreast of developments within the hotel and community as they relate to security as well as act as a liaison with local lawenforcement agencies Be fully conversant of current local laws and regulations as they relate to the hotel particularly in the area of guests patrons and employees rights Provide security coverage for VIP guests Oversee and ensure expenditures are within the budget Cultivate Informers with the intention of obtaining information of security interest that may be of immediate or future use to the Department for prevention and detection purposes Ensure that all pertinent information is documented in the Daily Security Report Always be oncall including offduty hours for any emergency that may arise Comply with hotel and department policies and procedures at all times Qualifications : We are looking for a wellorganized and creative candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can display a passion for perfection and work in a dynamic environment. In addition the candidate should possess: Bachelor Degree or its equivalent Minimum 5 years of relevant experience Team player Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members Has lots of initiative assertiveness and is innovative Certificates in Fire Safety Management (OSHA) Communicate thoughts actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills.
